How much of a profit and whether or not you can consider filling out paid surveys at home your new full time job greatly depends. It depends on the company which is sending you the surveys, and how many companies you are registered with. It depends on the time an effort you put into the program. Finally, it also depends on how much you are being paid per survey.
The truth is some companies do not actually pay you per survey you fill out. Rather they give you points, or allow you to be entered in a drawing to win money or prices. In order to make any significant amount of money filling out surveys, you would need to be registered with hundreds of sites. Taking the time to register with so many sites, pulling up the surveys and then taking the time to fill them out can actually be very time consuming. Some companies do not send you a survey offer everyday; some may only send you an offer once a month. This is why you would need to be registered with so many sites. Further, other paid surveys at home opportunities require you to fill out so many surveys before they will qualify you to be paid for the surveys. As mentioned before, some companies do not even pay cash for your efforts but those that are paid surveys are generally between 2 and 5 dollars each. This could add up when you consider you're making 2 to 5 dollars for every 10 to 20 minute long survey you fill out. The problem with this is, more times than not, you have to qualify for the survey. If you spend 5-15 minutes filling out the various demographic and qualifying information just to be told you do not qualify; you are spending a great deal of time making no profit.
So basically, if you enjoy spending time on your computer and don’t mind filling out surveys you should certainly give it a shot. At best I would say you can expect to make a bit of extra money doing something you enjoy. Making an income by filling out paid surveys at home is probably not going to happen.
